Aquatic plants containing many valuable elements and chemical compounds, which found application in cosmetic industry. They provide the skin with amino acids, proteins, lipids, vitamins (A, B group, C and E) and microelements (calcium, iodine, cobalt, zinc, copper, manganese, magnesium, bromine, iron). Algae are used in the prophylactics and treatment of cellulite, stretch marks and acne.
Beneficial effects of algae on the skin result from their nourishing and hydrating properties. They improve blood circulation, restore the skin's natural pH, regulate the activity of sebaceous glands. Additionally, algae supply vitamins, amino acids and mineral compounds.
